Our Process

The Usual Process for Getting Started with BSDAP

1. Request a Demo

  • Interested in seeing how BSDAP works? Book a demo with us to explore the features and learn how BSDAP can support your behaviour recording needs.

2. Obtain Consent

  • Before creating a profile, consent must be obtained from the participant or their nominee to ensure they agree with the data collection and sharing process.

3. Practitioner Account Setup

  • If you’re a Behaviour Support Practitioner, create an account by completing the Practitioner Registration Form. This will provide you access to the BSDAP system for managing participants and their support teams.

4. Send Participant Information

5. Personalise the Participant Profile

  • The Behaviour Support Practitioner can now customise the participant’s profile based on their specific needs. For guidance, watch our How to Manage Labels Video in the Members Portal.
  • Meanwhile:
    • BSDAP will create a service agreement and send it to both the nominee and practitioner for review and approval.
    • An invoice will be sent to the email address specified in the service agreement.

6. Add the Whole Support Team

  • Once the profile is personalised, it’s time to link the support team. Nominees, practitioners, or BSDAP staff can follow the steps in our Download Guide to ensure the entire support team is connected.

7. Begin Behaviour Recording

  • Support team members, known as Supporters, are now linked and can start recording behaviours in as little as 20-60 seconds through the BSDAP mobile app.

Ongoing Support and Renewal

Near the end of the subscription period, a new service agreement will automatically be sent to the participant or nominee, offering the option to continue the BSDAP subscription for the following year or quarter.
